Before submitting new entries for discussion here, please do the following as a lot of posts could have been avoided:

(1) Do a thorough search on the startup program list to see if you entry is there - either under the Name/Startup Item or Command columns

(2) If it does appear, read the comments and check the recommendation and make your own decision as to whether you need it or not.

(3) If it doesn't appear in the list(s) then read this post and submit the new item(s) with the requested information.

(4) Don't post a HijackThis log or list of startup programs where all of the items are already on the list, asking for advice which ones you need. That's why the list is there. HijackThis and other logs should only be posted where they identify programs that aren't on the list.
