Guys, I think this may be worm/spyware related. I can't open task manager by pressing ctrl+alt+del, or by running the executable. HOWEVER, I can run it by right clicking on the taskbar and then clicking task manager. I ran the following in this order;
trend micro scanner...nothing found
cwshredder..clean
spybot..found a few bad cookies
adaware...found data mining problems
last resort..hijackthis, here's the log

Hi Chambers - I cannot see any malware in your log. If you would like to test your theory futher, try running RAV. RAV doesnt clean but it does generate a log.
