Hi. I had to perform a system restore after uninstalling the Hotfix. It's back on the Add or Remove programs list but I can't remove it as the unins000.dat doesn't exist. How can I manually remove it?

I have a similar question... On Win2000 the uninstall is not present on the Add/Remove programs list. Does anyone have the necessary info to remove the fix?

Thanks.

OK, after re-reading the FAQ I finally found the file to run...

c:\Program Files\WindowMetafile\unins000.exe

I found unins000.exe in my Program Files folder but it can't work without unins000.dat.

Can you check for the registry entry, does it exist and if so whats the value?

I'm having the same problem and unins000.dat does not exist in the registry. I try to reinstall the hotfix to then use the uninstaller but it says it's already installed. The uninstaller won't run because it doesn't have the dat file.
