Thank you for your patience. If you still require help then we would ask you to:
1/ Ensure that you are using the latest version of HijackThis which should be v1.99.1 and that it is running from a permanent folder (such as C:\HJT), rather then a temporary one. (Note: To create a new folder open Windows Explorer, click on File, select New then Folder. Type in the name of the new folder in the box provided and press Enter.)
You can download the latest version here, then unzip it to that permanent folder: Hijack This!
2/ Whilst you are waiting for an expert to examine your log, we recommend that you follow our Malware Removal Procedure , a new system we have devised to enable users to either partially, or fully clean their systems without the direct aid of an expert. Should you still require HJT assistance after completing malware removal, this step will eliminate the need for you to repeat these scans during your log analysis.
3/ Post a fresh post scan log into this thread (under my post right here).
4/ Copy (the URL in your address-bar) and paste this link of your HijackThis Log thread into this page here:
/p629342-Unhandled_Logs.html#629342 <<-- Here, click it. Put the address URL of your HijackThis Log thread in that topic thread.
Do NOT post your address URL as a new topic.
Please post any feedback on how easy you found it to follow the steps in our Malware Removal procedure in this same topic reply. Your input will enable us to refine it for other users. We thank you for your cooperation.
and someone will help you ASAP! _________________ [img]http://serve.dynasig.net/926.gif[/img]

Hi ucjgaugersd,
Open Hijackthis, click Scan, then put a check next to the following entries:
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer,SearchURL = http://www.quicksearch360.com/sp2.php
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://www.quicksearch360.com/sp2.php
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://www.quicksearch360.com/sp2.php
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = http://www.quicksearch360.com/sp2.php
O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [freestyle] lockx.exe
O16 - DPF: {56336BCB-3D8A-11D6-A00B-0050DA18DE71} - http://software-dl.real.com/065efcfceda...xIE601.cab
Now Close all open Windows and browsers (have only HJT open) and click "Fix Checked".
Then reboot.
Please download the trial version of Spy Sweeper from Here
Install it using the Standard Install option. (You will be asked for your e-mail address, it is safe to give it. If you receive alerts from your firewall, allow all activities for Spy Sweeper)
You will be prompted to check for updated definitions, please do so.
(This may take several minutes)
Click on Options > Sweep Options and check Sweep all Folders on Selected drives. Check Local Disc C. Under What to Sweep, check every box.
Click on Sweep and allow it to fully scan your system.
When the sweep has finished, click Remove. Click Select All and then Next
From 'Results', select the Session Log tab. Click Save to File and save the log somewhere convenient.
Exit Spy Sweeper.
Copy and paste the log into this thread, along with a new HJT log.
** I see you have one or more items disabled via Msconfig, in your last HJT log. Did you use "Selective Startup" to get to Safe Mode?
If this is one of the items you were troubleshooting relating to your problem, you need to enable that entry, as HijackThis can not "see" disabled Startup (tab) items, reboot and rescan with HijackThis. Otherwise ignore.
Start>Run>type 'msconfig' (no quotes) and select "Normal" for start mode..

I had disabled many programs that were causing my computer to run really slow and I was in selective startup, however I have enabled all programs for the scan to follow. Thanks so much for the help.

Hi ucjgaugersd,
Yes, please follow these steps, then run Spy Sweeper.....
Please download miekiemoes' LQfix.exe and place it on your desktop.
Doubleclick LQfix.exe and click install.
Follow the prompts on the screen.
Your system will reboot afterwards.
Please be patient after reboot, because there is a script running in the background.
Open Hijackthis, click Scan, then put a check next to the following entries:
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WildTangent CDA] RUNDLL32.exe "C:\Program Files\WildTangent\Apps\CDA\cdaEngine0400.dll",cdaEngineMain
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [System service76] C:\WINDOWS\etb\pokapoka76.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Power Scan] C:\Program Files\Power Scan\powerscan.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Internet Optimizer] "C:\Program Files\Internet Optimizer\optimize.exe"
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [freestyle] lockx.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Archive] C:\Program Files\Archive\archive.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Spyware Cleaner] "C:\Program Files\Spyware Cleaner\SpywareCleaner.Exe" /boot
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [services32] C:\Program Files\Common Files\Windows\mc-58-12-0000166.exe
Now Close all open Windows and browsers (have only HJT open) and click "Fix Checked".
Then delete these folders in bold:
C:\WINDOWS\etb\
C:\Program Files\Archive\
C:\Program Files\Internet Optimizer\
C:\Program Files\Power Scan\
C:\Program Files\Spyware Cleaner\
C:\Program Files\WildTangent\
Then reboot.
Open HijackThis, click Config, click Misc Tools
Click "Open Uninstall Manager"
Click "Save List" (generates uninstall_list.txt)
Click Save, copy and paste the results in your next post.
Now run Spy Sweeper.... ^^
Then reboot and please post a new HJT log and the SpySweeper log.....
