"Test123,"

If a fellow user of Win98SEPlus!98 v4.10.2222A and a very DUMMY give you some info then here it is and is not just for you but anyone on Win98 as well:

http://blog.ziffdavis.com/seltzer/archive/2006/01/03/39684.aspx

Go there and see what all they have to say about this issue and our system. Looks pretty good to me, but; not being a programmer, nerd, geekizoid, etceteras, maybe just expecting lots.

If there is anybody who want nevertheless a reliable hotfix that works on Win 9x/ME too, let me know.

In that case i will deliberate with Paul how we offer this fix.

BTW: it's possible Paul already has this fix.

It's a hotfix that work like Ilfak's, and protect you in exact the same effective way.

The Ziff-Davis Publishers have some info available on their Blog covering this topic and the others. Go to that link and read what they have.

"GlitchMan,"

My missunderstanding, Mr. SteveGibson of GibsonResearchCorporation has a page with inof as well:

http://www.grc.com/sn/notes-020.htm . Plus he has many other items of interest in other areas of his webpage. Try http://grc.com and look that over.

Just a suggestion,

Monti's patch is alleged to work with Windows 98 systems! Get it before he withdraws it.

Yes I am experimenting with Paolo Monti's patch right now and all seems well so far. Also averyjparker.com also has tested it some as I mentioned in another post here..

When you had read my WMF Thread at the Maxthon Forum, you wouldn't ask this Very Happy

BTW: Paolo Monti is connected to Eset Italia.
Strong Microsoft pressure on Eset to remove this patch and all information about it Shocked
