hi, trying to get a solution for mydoom.
runningvista64 /avg/noadaware/spybot/superantispy/rmmydoom/hijackthis/fixmydoom/spysweeper.

i have run all these progs and more none can remove and most cant even detect it.
tried all in SAFEBOOT. didnt do anything.
noadaware mainly picks up on it but cant remove it.
hijack this can see the two files explorer.exe and regedit exe in sys 32 but cant remove it.
u cant see the two files in sys32 only with hijack this and noadaware. and u cant delete them or edit them at all.
finally- i reformatted and clean installed vista again. reinstalled no adaware and hijack this and it was still there? how can this be?

hi thanks for the reply.
i did as u suggested and updated hjt and downloaded malware bytes.
i used the "file assasin tool" that removes locked files to remove explorer.exe and regedit exe that were hidden in sys32. and it worked!! noadaware nolonger detects it as a worm.
ill run avg, malwarebytes ,spybot ,superantispy,and livecare just to make sure. if nothing comes up i guess my system is clean.
thanks for the help and good luck fighting these a.holes who design these scripts. when i start making money again ,ill definatly donate .thanks again.
